The Shouson Hill home reflects a quietly confident design form. Our choices speak with dignity and a love for fine materials. We hoped to maintain a level of privacy, to celebrate nature, and to construct a nimble design that allows for entertaining, but could also reflect easy living. Marble creates a sense of monumentality within the property, yet the wood paneled walls offer warmth and a connection to nature. The close proximity of the adjacent homes factored into the design–we wanted the residence to be a hidden jewel, to be found and unexpected.
A quietly confident form of luxury.
Though its design conveys subtlety and sophistication, residents will also be struck by the simplicity of the floor plan. Entry through the foyer reveals an expansive Great Room where conversation flows seamlessly from the dining area to living area. Residents can transition to novel social environments in the Family Room and Rooftop Garden spaces, while the second floor’s Master Suite offers a private and intimate retreat within the residence. Living here makes the resident feel important, but perhaps more crucially, it makes them feel free.
