Rich in narrative and laden with gemstones and pearls, our concept for the Emirates Palace was guided by the city’s history and the patterns of ancient trading routes. The interiors complement the strong Arabic architecture of the hotel to create a deep emotional connection to the location.

Inspired by the history of Abu Dhabi and the Umm Al Nar culture of the third millennium BCE, Champalimaud Design’s renovation instills a focused point of view layered with sophistication and modernity, while reflecting the traditions and contemporary cultural development of the Emirates. The design reflects a romantic, bespoke, and sophisticated yet understated residential sensibility, with a focus on craftsmanship and precision.
