The city’s history, its patterns of ancient trading routes rich with story and laden with gemstones and pearls, guided our concept design for the Emirates Palace. Embodying a strong Arabic architecture, the hotel’s design furnishes guests with a deep emotional connection to the location.

Inspired by the history of Abu Dhabi and the Umm Al Nar culture of the third millennium BCE, Champalimaud Design instilled a focused point of view layered with sophistication and modernity, while reflecting the traditions and contemporary cultural development of the Emirates. The design reflects a romantic yet understated residential sensibility, with a focus on craftsmanship and precision.
