The Red Sea

SAUDI ARABIA

The Al Wajh Lagoon, a secluded paradise, is positioned within a rich haven of natural wonders. Drawing from the beauty of this sacred landscape, the narrative of our design for the Red Sea Hotel speaks to the four elements of earth, water, wind and fire. The design of this project is inspired and informed by the local earth elements. As we move through the spaces of the hotel, piece by piece, we are grounded on stone and wood floors, brush against the walls, dining from elemental tabletops or staring into courtyard gardens full of botanicals.

Inspired and informed by the local earth elements.

The architectural language of the resort is inspired by the geometry of the coral reefs. The concept takes inspiration from fractal geometry and patterns evident in the red sea’s ecosystems, where layers of simplicity form a rich and complex tapestry throughout the natural environment. The passing of traditions over time creates rich and layered rituals, all manifesting in our design for the guest experience.

Layers of simplicity form a rich and complex tapestry throughout the natural environment.
