The Crescent Nob Hill
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
Located in one of the most iconic neighborhoods of San Francisco, The Crescent offers a tailored design perspective layered with a Californian sensibility. We imagined the interiors as an understated yet highly refined environment that speaks to the history of Nob Hill. From the lobby to the sunroom to the residences, each space we designed responds to the comforts and expectations of the residents living within them.

A sense of arrival comes in transitional elements scaled and proportioned to evoke tradition with a contemporary perspective. In the lobby, scalloped moulding inspired by the building’s art deco exterior adds depth and character while Bianco Dolomite and Belgian Black marbles dress the floors with a rich materiality. The Sunroom is a sophisticated haunt composed in contrasts. A relaxed palette of off-white marble and white oak is accented by clean geometric lines and subtle hits of color from the furniture.

A focus on natural and airy materials, stones with soft colors and textures, marbles, and light oak surfaces.
For the residences, the studio aimed to create spaces that not only worked with the unique shape of the building but also reflected the desires of today’s city dweller: functional, flexible, and fluid, with colors and textures within to mirror that mentality. There’s a focus on natural and airy materials, stones with soft colors and textures, marbles, and light oak surfaces. The furnishings in the Model Unit were selected as stylish punctuations for each room.
